ATOM behind a proxy

To configure ATOM for using it behind a proxy, we have to add some lines into the file /.atom/.apmrc.

Add the following line when you have some problems with the SSL certificate but use it cautiously.

How to install NSIS setup.exe silently from InnoSetup

I had to install some third party setup builded with NSIS for installing my software.

To call them silently from InnoSetup, I had to use the Exec function.

Exec(<filepath>, '/S', <workingdir>, SW_HIDE, ewWaitUntilTerminated, <result>);

Arguments /S and SW_HIDE is very important for executing NSIS setups silently. The argument /S is provided by NSIS and the argument SW_HIDE is prodived by InnoSetup.

Configure the anonymous authentication for opening Office documents without the credentials dialog

I spent a lot of time looking how to remove the credentials dialog when we try to open an Office document. My case was we needed to open an office document linked on a HTML page and when a user clicked on a link, we had always a credentials dialog. Even we click on the Cancel button, the document will open after the dialog has been closed.

So to remove this dialog, we have to configure your web.config file.

Add the anonymous authorization on a specified a folder, for instance the Document folder in your root website folder.
